Historic Natchitoches, 60 miles northeast of Alexandria, is recognized as Louisiana’s oldest town. Natchitoches bridges the seasons with the famous Natchitoches Christmas Festival, to local Mardi Gras celebrations led by the Krewe of Dionysus and spring’s Bloomin On the Bricks.
